Zia Stamps: Summer Column, Mini Asian Seasonal Chop, NEW Zia's Night Coral and Zia's Netting Materials: Zia's Color Wash Jewels - Emerald and Citron Zia's Ultra Color Wash Jewels - Malachite and Obsidian Zia's Chroma Sprays - Amber Metallic Flow - Champagne Water color paper #140 6 x 9" and 4 x 6" Black card stock - 2 x 6" and black core board - 8 x 11" Plastic fern Colored pencils - pink, red and green Clear embossing ink pad and 2 embossing powders ( pink and red) Permanent black ink - Document Ink or India Ink Paper adhesive Heat gun Spray bottle with water Technique: 1) Spray 6 x 9" watercolor paper with water. Spray Emerald, Malachite and Citron over wet surface and hold paper vertically to allow colors to blend smoothly together. Set aside to dry. 2) Spray smaller piece of watercolor paper with Emerald and Amber and dry with heat gun. Place plastic fern over paper surface and spray Obsidian over fern. Dry with heat gun. Scribble Champagne Metallic Flow on non-porous surface and press painted paper into it. Dry with heat gun. 3) Stamp Summer Column in permanent ink on painted fern paper and dry with heat gun. Color lotus petals with pink and red colored pencils and leaves with green colored pencil. 4) Stamp Zia's Netting in permanent ink on Night Coral and then stamp it near the middle of the dry larger watercolor paper. Dry with heat gun. 5) Stamp the Night Coral twice (near right and left sides) in pigment ink and emboss in pink and red powders. 6) Cut larger watercolor piece into 3 equal vertical 2 x 9" strips and mount on black core board. 7) Stamp Mini Asian Seasonal symbol vertically on left strip in permanent ink Dry with heat gun. 7) Trim stamped Summer Column and mount on black card stock. Cut remaining paper into 2 strips. 8) Arrange column and strips on mounted background as illustrated above. 9) Sign your art creation!
