Materials:
Zia's Color Wash Jewels - Blue Topaz , Ruby and Citron
Zia's Ultra Color Wash Jewels - Sapphire and Fire Opal
Crescent Illustration Board 5 x 5"
White and yellow crayon
Small watercolor paintbrush
Glazia
Paintbrush (1 inch wide) for applying water and Glazia
Permanent black ink - Document Ink or India Ink
Hairdryer and heat gun
Technique:
1) Scribble white and yellow crayons on Crescent Illustration
board surface.
2) Spray board with sapphire and citron.. Dry with heat gun.
Using a 1 inch wide brush, spatter water on the painted board.
Let water sit for a few minutes then blot off water with paper
towels. Dry with heat gun.
3) Stamp Trigger Fish image on board using black permanent ink
. Dry with heat gun.
4) Stamp Netting image on edges of board using black permanent
ink .Without re-inking the netting stamp, stamp the image "off"
over entire board surface. Dry with heat gun.
5) Using a small watercolor paintbrush, paint the Trigger Fish
with a combination of Sapphire, Ruby and Fire Opal. Dry with
heat gun.
6) Using wide brush, cover surface of board with Glazia and gently
dry with a hairdryer.
